                  <p class="para_note_body">The system performs material removal and collision checking based on the tool graphics. It computes cut regions and cutting motions based on the tool parameters. This way, the system can drive a complex, user-defined tool such as a form tool.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">Retrieve a tool from NX Library as follows: </p>

            <p class="para_item">Select the Retrieve Tool icon <img align="bottom" src="graphics/turn_toolin_01a.gif" border="0"> in the Create Tool dialog. The Library Class Selection dialog opens.

            <p class="para_item">Select the tool class. The system opens the Search Criteria dialog. The parameters in the dialog are specific to the class of tool you selected in the previous step. </p>
