      </table><br><p class="para_topic">When there are gaps between the curves that define your flow or cross curve set, you must select the curves in order as follows:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the first curve and notice the direction vector.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the second curve and notice the direction vector.</p>
            <p class="para_item">If the direction vector does not point in the same direction as the first curve, double-click the arrow head to reverse the vector.</p>

                        <p class="para_warning_body">Never use the <b class="uiTerm">Reverse Direction</b> <img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/modeling/common/reverse_direction.gif" border="0"> button on a curve set with gaps. This can cause problems with aligning the curves.

            <p class="para_item">Repeat for each curve to correctly orient the flow or cross curve set.</p>
            <p class="para_item">Closely watch the <b class="uiTerm">Preview</b> pattern while working with curve sets with gaps. If the pattern starts looking  incorrect, delete the last active curve set and re-select the curves in the proper order.

                  <p class="para_tip_body">You will notice multiple direction vectors along a curve set that has gaps. Each vector is located at the start of a contiguous selection of curves.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Selecting points is similar to selecting curves with gaps. Follow the above procedure when selecting points.</p>
