      <p class="para_topic">The system maintains a list of the previously selected holes and their associated tolerance and stock values. Therefore, after you specify the desired hole information you can:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Edit Hole List</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Tolerance</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Stock</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Reselect All</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">Use these options to:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Modify the tolerance and/or stock values associated with one or more of the previously selected holes.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Add one or more holes to the hole list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Delete one or more holes from the hole list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Modify the entire list by assigning a single tolerance and stock value to all of the holes.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>

      <p class="para_topic">To set hole parameters individually, you must:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Use Edit Hole List, (discussed below) to the desired status.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Set (or verify) the tolerance and stock values.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the desired hole using the screen cursor to assign the current tolerance and stock values to the hole.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Continue specifying tolerance and stock values and selecting holes until the information is as desired for each hole.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Press OK. The system then creates the cut boundary and displays the Zig-Zag Surface menu.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Edit Hole List</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option toggles between three settings: Modify (Mod), Add (Add), and Delete (Del). When you press Edit Hole List, the setting changes from its present setting to the next (i.e., from Mod to Add to Del back to Mod, and so on).</p>
      <p class="para_division">This setting determines the type of modification to be made to the hole list.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Use Mod to redefine the tolerance and stock values for a previously selected hole.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Use Add to add a hole to the hole list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Use Del to remove a hole from the hole list.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">If you attempt an improper list manipulation (for example, trying to Add a hole to the list which is already on the list), the system displays an appropriate error message.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Tolerance</div>
      <p class="para_division">Allows you to enter a value which determines the chordal tolerance the system uses to approximate the hole boundary. Smaller tolerance values produce a more accurate approximation. When the system generates the cut boundary, it approximates the hole boundary to within the tolerance value in effect when you selected the hole.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Stock</div>
      <p class="para_division">Allows you to specify the thickness of material to be left on the workpiece around the selected hole. You must set the offset option under Offset/Gouge in the Zig-Zag Surface menu to &quot;on&quot; to cause the cutter to be offset from the edges a distance of the cutter radius. The stock value entered here is in addition to that offset.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Reselect All</div>
      <p class="para_division">Allows you to apply the current tolerance and stock values to all existing holes. Enter any desired tolerance and/or stock values before pressing Reselect All. (The status of Edit Hole List has no effect on this option.) The Modify Hole Selection menu redisplays allowing you to continue to specify hole data.</p>
      <p class="para_division">After you set the desired tolerance and stock values for the selected holes and then choosing OK (or if there are no holes), the Zig-Zag Surface parameters menu displays. These options are described on the following pages.</p>
