      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The figure below illustrates how you can use Top Face to generate a closed boundary. This option works very similarly to  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgwedm/wedm_geo_select.html');return(false);">chaining</a> with respect to how the system defines the boundary start point and the direction.

      <div class="title_figure">Using Top Face to Define a Boundary</div>
      <p class="para_topic">The location in which you select the face determines both the Start Point and the direction of the boundaries. For example, when looking at the graphic below, you select the upper face near edge 1. Edge 1 becomes the first segment of the boundary. The boundary direction points toward the selected end of the segment, and the Start Point is at the opposite end of the segment.</p>

      <div class="title_figure">Selection Location when using Top Face</div>
      <p class="para_topic">To select or reselect the geometry for a four axis solid using the Top Face option:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">

            <p class="para_item">Use your mouse to select one face and the system defines the adjacent faces as the boundary.</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For more selecting options click the Class Selection button to access the Class Selection Submenu.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">When you have completed one boundary and are ready to make another select the Create Next Boundary button. When you select this button the system completes the boundary you are currently working on and becomes ready to accept another boundary.</p>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you complete a boundary and decide you want to remove it, select the Remove Last button and the system removes the last complete boundary.</p>
