      <p class="para_topic">In the following steps, you will create two Drilling operations for the top of the Part. The first operation you create will drill the holes to size. The second operation you create will center drill. Because these operations are identical except for the drill size, you will create the second operation by simply copying and pasting the first operation in the Machine Tool view of the Operation Navigator. You will then rename the second operation. Remember, the order in which you create these operations does not matter. What does matter is the order in which they appear in the Program Order view of the Operation Navigator.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">To create a Drilling operation, you will first need to change the Type to drill. This will allow you to choose an appropriate drilling template in the Create Operation dialog box. Also, the 0.149 drill required for the drilling operation does not currently exist and must be defined.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Choose the Create Tool Icon (a) to display the Create Tool Dialog. Choose the Tool View icon to switch the Operation Navigator to the Machine Tool view.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Specify drill as the Type (b below).</p>

            <p class="para_item">Choose the DRILLING_TOOL (c above). Choose GENERIC_MACHINE (d above) in the Parent scroll list.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Key in DR-0.149 in the Name field (e above). This is the name of the tool that will appear in the Opertion Navigator.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Choose OK (f above). This displays a dialog box that enables you to specify the tool parameters.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Key in .149 for the diameter and choose OK to create the tool. The Tool now appears in the Machine Tool View of the Operation as illustrated below.</p>
