      </table><br><p class="para_topic">The Holemaking module creates operations for tool paths that machine holes such as drilling, tapping, boring, counter-boring and hole milling. This module automates the process of machining holes by working with hole features in the part model. It also performs many of the functions that were previously performed manually by the NC programmer. Automating the process of machining holes saves time in the overall programming and machining process.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">There are three ways to automate this process:  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgholemaking/fbm_overview.html');return(false);">Feature Recognition</a>,  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgholemaking/fbm_overview.html');return(false);">Feature Identification</a>, and  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgholemaking/fbm_overview.html');return(false);">Identification Based on Attributes</a>.

      <p class="para_division">NX supports Feature Identification and Identification Based on Attributes. A Holemaking part can contain features, geometric entities containing attributes, features with attributes, or any combination of the three. The Holemaking module leads to the greatest productivity improvements for situations where design is done for manufacturing.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Holemaking is able to automate feature identification with the use of machining features and machining feature templates.</p>
