      <p class="para_topic">Lathe Cross-Section allows you to create 2D cross-sectional curves from a solid model by defining section planes. These curves can be used in all lathe applications for creating boundaries. The cross-sectional curves are associative, meaning that if the size or shape of the solid model changes, the curves also change.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">&nbsp;Any changes to the geometry to which the cross-sectional curves are associated will not cause an immediate update of the cross-sectional curves. The update will take effect only after entering Manufacturing. Because of this delayed update behavior, Lathe Cross-Section curves should not be used to create Features.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">You may use one of two methods to create cross-sections; Simple Section or Complex Section. Simple Section allows you to create cross-sectional curves using a single section plane. The resulting cross-sectional curves lie in the plane used to create the cross-section.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Complex Section allows you to define multiple section planes. The cross-sectional curves are rotated about a specified axis onto a specified projection plane.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When you select Tool Box&gt;Lathe Cross-Section, the following dialog box displays.</p>
