      <p class="para_topic">Engages and Approaches move FROM the defined clearance geometry while all others move TO the defined clearance geometry.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Clearance geometry may be defined as points, planes, spheres, or cylinders. In addition, if there is a clearance plane defined in the geometry group, it is available as the <b class="uiTerm">Use Inherited</b> option.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Point</div>
      <p class="para_division">Point allows you to specify an associative or nonassociative point as Clearance Geometry using the Point Constructor Subfunction.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Plane</div>
      <p class="para_division">Plane allows you to specify an associative or nonassociative plane as Clearance Geometry using the Plane Constructor Subfunction.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Sphere</div>
      <p class="para_division">Sphere allows you to specify a sphere as Clearance Geometry by entering a value for Radius and specifying the center using the Point Subfunction.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Notice that in addition to Engaging and Retracting to the sphere, the traverses between the Engages and Retracts follow the geodesic contour of the sphere.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Cylinder</div>
      <p class="para_division">Cylinder allows you to specify a cylinder as Clearance Geometry by entering a value for Radius, specifying the Center using the Point Subfunction and specifying the axis using the Vector Subfunction. This cylinder is of infinite length.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Notice that in addition to Engaging and Retracting to the Cylinder, the traverses between the Engages and Retracts follow the geodesic contour of the Cylinder.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Example of Check Engage and Retract</div>
      <p class="para_division">Here is an example of a clearance plane for Check Engage and Retract. A Reposition Engage and Retract clearance plane has already been defined as illustrated below.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Notice that the tool gouges the Check geometry and that an additional clearance plane is needed for the tool to clear the Check geometry.</p>
