      <p class="para_topic">This section shows you how to create a Tcl procedure that you can place with any event marker in the post. You will be assisted in the creation if the custom command. With syntax checking set to on, the system does not allow you to create a Tcl procedure that is not syntactically correct. Several useful custom commands are provided with your default post. Additional custom commands can be imported from a library of custom commands.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The system places all of the correct syntax around the body of your procedure. It will create the first and last line in your procedure. The name of your custom procedure always has the prefix PB_CMD_.</p>

      <p class="para_division">This section allows you to create a&nbsp;TCL procedure that the system can execute from any marker or event.&nbsp;The system places all of the correct syntax around the body of your procedure.&nbsp;It creates the first and last line in your procedure.&nbsp;The first line is:</p>
      <p class="para_division">proc PB_CMD_name_of_proc {} {</p>
      <p class="para_division">and the last line is:</p>
      <p class="para_division">}</p>
      <p class="para_division">The system executes this procedure in the sequence the system created. Note that Post Builder does not check the validity of the syntax of custom procedures.&nbsp;This option is for advanced users only. Post Builder supplies a number of canned custom commands that perform pre-determined functions.&nbsp;Only advanced users should modify any existing custom commands or create their own custom commands.&nbsp;This option allows you to capture the edits to the event handler.</p>
