      <p class="para_topic">Local Return allows you to define a location to which the tool moves, at a user-specified frequency, where you may specify the output of OPSTOP, OPSKIP, or DELAY statements to the tool path.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The system does not output OPSTOP, OPSKIP, or DELAY statements unless local return control is ACTIVE.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Local Return Point</div>
      <p class="para_division">Local Return Point is used to define a position to which the tool returns following completion of a user-specified number of passes. The options available are as follows:</p>
      <p class="para_division">The tool moves directly to and from the local return point.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The possible status settings for the Local Return Point in the title line of this menu are:</p>
      <p class="para_division">NONE - A return point has not been specified.</p>
      <p class="para_division">ACTIVE - A specified return point is active.</p>
      <p class="para_division">INACTIVE - A specified return point has been omitted.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Specify - allows you to define a return point using the Point Subfunction.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Specification of a local return point deletes any previous return point.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Omit - allows you to specify the currently active local return point as being inactive.</p>
      <p class="para_division">In the Omit option, if no return point is defined, the error message NO POINT DEFINED displays. Press OK to continue.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Reinstate -allows you to reactivate the last omitted local return point.</p>
      <p class="para_division">In the Reinstate option, if no return point is defined, the error message NO POINT DEFINED displays. Press OK to continue.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Verify - causes the system to display the status and the XC and YC (Work) coordinates of an active or inactive return point.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Redisplay Point - causes an &quot;+LRT&quot; symbol to appear on the display screen at the location of the local return point. It remains displayed until the screen is refreshed.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Return Move</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Return Move option allows you to specify the method to use for the move to the Local Return Point.</p>

      <p class="para_division">For return moves methods that are preceded by an asterisk, OPSTOP, OPSKIP, and DELAY are output only if Local Return is ACTIVE. (Local Return Point status does not affect the output because these methods do not involve a return point.)</p>
      <p class="para_division">For return move methods that are not preceded by an asterisk, the move to the Local Return Point and OPSTOP, OPSKIP, and DELAY commands are output only if the Local Return status is ACTIVE and a Local Return Point is active.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The options above are similar to those found in the Return Move dialog of the Avoidance Geometry option.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Opstop</div>
      <p class="para_division">Opstop toggles between ACTIVE and INACTIVE. If it is active when a tool path is generated, the system outputs a single OPSTOP command after each move to the local return point.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Opskip</div>
      <p class="para_division">Opskip toggles between ACTIVE and INACTIVE. If it is ACTIVE when a tool path is generated, the system outputs OPSKIP commands for the local return point moves.</p>
      <p class="para_division">An OPSKIP/ON is output either before or after the move to the local return point, depending on how the resequence output option is set. A corresponding OPSKIP/OFF is output before the next move to the local return point.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The last OPSKIP command output to the tool path is OPSKIP/ON. No corresponding OPSKIP/OFF is output.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Delay</div>
      <p class="para_division">Delay allows you to specify a dwell interval (Delay) in tool motion at the end of a user specified number of machining passes.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You must first specify the units (seconds or revolutions) by toggling the units between the two settings and pressing OK. Then enter a value (number of revolutions or number of seconds) to define the desired Delay Interval. If you want to deactivate Delay, enter a value of zero.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When the tool path is generated, the system outputs a DELAY/ command after each move to the local return point.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Frequency</div>
      <p class="para_division">Enter the value which defines how often, in terms of number of passes, you wish the tool to move to the local return point. For example, if you enter 1, the tool moves to the local return point after every pass. If you enter 3, the tool moves to the local return point after every third pass.</p>
      <p class="para_division">After you specify the frequency value, the Local Return Control menu redisplays.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Resequence Output</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Resequence Output option allows you to change the output order of Return Move, Opstop, Opskip, and Delay.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The numbers opposite each option represent the output order with 1 begin the first to be output, 2 the second, etc.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can suppress the output of any of the options above by entering a zero for the desired option. The numbers you enter for the commands to be output must be an uninterrupted sequence of numbers (i.e., 1,2,3 rather than 1,2,4). For example, the following is a valid sequence:</p>

      <div class="title_division">Local Return</div>
      <p class="para_division">Local Return allows local return to be turned on and off regardless of the local return point or method. This option toggles between ACTIVE and INACTIVE.</p>
