      <title>MB3 Options For Background</title>

      <p class="para_topic">To open the Operation Navigator Background menu, move the cursor to a clear area in the navigator window or to one of the title rows and click MB3.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Program Order View</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option changes the view on the Operation Navigator to the Program Order View. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Machine Tool View </div>
      <p class="para_division">This option changes the view on the Operation Navigator to the Machine Tool View. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Geometry View</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option changes the view on the Operation Navigator to the Geometry View. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Machining Method View</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option changes the view on the Operation Navigator to the Machining Method View. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Find Object</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option allows you to search the objects listed in the Operation Navigator. This can be &nbsp;useful in locating an object when there are many objects in the Operation Navigator. In the Find Object dialog, either key in the entire name of the desired object (it is case sensitive) or key in part of the name followed by an asterisk (*). When found, the object highlights. Choose OK to dismiss the dialog.</p>
      <div class="title_division"> Create Filter</div>
      <p class="para_division">This option displays the Operation Filter dialog. With this dialog you can specify the filtering criteria that is used to display only a subset of all operations contained in the current part in the Operation Navigator. Create Filter is used in conjunction with the Apply Filter option. Create Filter is used to define the filter while Apply Filter turns the filter mechanism on or off.       <div class="title_division">Apply Filter</div>
      <p class="para_division">Apply Filter allows you to limit the operation names that are displayed in the Operation Navigator. You can, for instance, list all edited operations that do not have tool paths. When toggled OFF, Apply Filter allows you to once again list all operations. When toggled ON, Apply Filter allows you to list just the filtered operations that were specified using the Create Filter option described above.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Expand All</div>
      <p class="para_division">Expands all collapsed parent groups in the Operation Navigator so that every operation is visible.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Collapse All</div>
      <p class="para_division">Choosing Collapse All collapses all the Parent Groups in the Operation Navigator. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Export to Browser</div>
      <p class="para_division">Saves the information in the Operation Navigator to an html file, and exports it to your web browser. If none of your browsers are running, this option starts your default browser. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Export to Spreadsheet</div>
      <p class="para_division">Exports the information in the Operation Navigator to a spreadsheet. You can use the spreadsheet tools to help you analyze or publish the data. For example, you can use the tools to sort the data in number cells or to color the text in cells that you want to emphasize.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Columns</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Columns submenu allows you to quickly enable or disable the display of columns in the current view of the Operation Navigator. The submenu contains all columns that are available for the current view. Columns that are visible show a check mark in front of the menu entry. To change the display status of a column, select it in the menu. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Properties </div>
      <p class="para_division">The Properties option opens up the Operation Navigator Properties dialog. The dialog settings are organized under General and Columns tabs.</p>

      <ul>

            <p class="para_item">Operation Navigator Colors</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">These options allow you to add greater visual emphasis to data displayed in the Operation Navigator. Toolchange allows you to specify the color in which the row of text describing each operation is displayed for operations where a tool change occurs. For each operation where a tool change occurs, the text displayed in each column appears in the specified color. This applies only to the Program Order View and applies whether or not the Toolchange column is displayed.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Highlight allows you to specify the color in which the row of the active operation highlights when using functions such as Visualize.</p>

            <p class="para_item">Switch View to Match Create</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">When this preference is turned on, whenever you create a group (Program, Tool, Method, or Geometry), the view of the Operation Navigator will switch to that view. This allows you to use the Operation Navigator to select the parents as you create groups, and immediately see them in the tree structure. This has no affect when creating operations. </p>

            <p class="para_item">Condensed Tool View</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">When you select this preference the Tool View condenses and the tree of carriers and pockets is not displayed. The system only displays the tools at the top level. To see the pocket or carrier parents for a tool in the condensed view, activate the carrier and pocket columns in the Tool View.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Columns</div>
      <p class="para_division">The options on this page allow you to define the order and visibility of columns for each view of the Operation Navigator. </p>
      <p class="para_division">To configure the columns for a specific view, select the view icon at that top of the page. The list box will then show the available columns for the view. </p>
      <p class="para_division">To switch a navigator column display on or off, select or clear its check box. </p>
      <p class="para_division">To reorder a navigator column as it appears in the navigator window, highlight its entry and click the Move Up or Move Down buttons. </p>
      <p class="para_division">You can also reorder a highlighted column using drag and drop with the cursor. The Name column must be always visible at first position. You can not toggle it off or move it to another position.</p>
