If more than one region contributed, the uncut boundary will be output to the lowest contributing part boundary. The following figure shows the boundary placement.

CAUTION: When using Auto Save Boundary, permanent boundaries are created for an operation (P1, for example) and automatically named in sequence using the naming convention P1.B1, P1.B2, P1.B3, etc. You do not have the option of specifying names for uncut region boundaries. As new operations are created, the system continues the numbered sequence from one operation to the next. If an operation (P1) is deleted, its associated uncut region boundaries (P1.B1, P1.B2, P1.B3, P1.B4) remain. Consequently, if a new operation using the same name (P1) is then created, the new operation uses the same boundary naming sequence (P1.B1, P1.B2, P1.B3, P1.B4) as the original. As a result, the original uncut region boundaries are overwritten by the new ones. These boundaries and their associated curves for operation P1 are created as a group entity named P1.CLN. You can delete these boundaries and their associated curves by deleting the group entity.
