      <p class="para_topic">Thread features or circles can be selected as&nbsp;geometry. You may select both types of geometry in an operation.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">All references to selecting thread features in the Thread Milling documentation, are referring to selecting symbolic thread features. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Select</div>
      <p class="para_division">Select displays the Thread Geometry selection dialog. The thread parameters i.e., Major diameter, Minor Diameter, Pitch, Angle and Call Out fields are not editable. The Length field becomes editable once you select the geometry.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the Parameters and the Call Out filter toggles are switched OFF in the Thread Milling Main dialog, only the Feature radio button of the Selection options is active. Once you select a thread feature, the processor&nbsp;extracts the parameters of the feature and these parameters are set as the parameter filter options in the main dialog. The subsequent selection of the thread geometry will be based on these settings.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Once you select the thread geometry,&nbsp;the Length field, and the Select Start button, the Circle radio button from the Selection Options and the action mode become active. The Action Mode is set to Append. The Rotation button is active only if the circle radio button of the selection options is ON.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the Parameter filter toggle is switched ON in the Thread Milling Main dialog,&nbsp; Rotation, Feature and Circle radio buttons of the Selection options and the Select All button are active. All the other fields and buttons are grayed out.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the Call Out filter toggle is switched ON in the Thread Milling Main dialog,&nbsp;the Feature and Circle radio buttons of the Selection options and the Select All button are active. All the other fields and buttons are grayed out. The internal and external thread definitions for the Circle option and Call Out&nbsp; filter option are defined by the radio buttons under the Selection Options. These radio buttons are active only when you choose the Call Out filter option and set the Circle radio button of the Selection Options ON.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

      <p class="para_division">The thread geometry can be specified either by entering name of the feature/geometry in the selection field or interactively.</p>
      <p class="para_division">By setting&nbsp; the Selection Options to Features, you can select thread features. Only features that match&nbsp; the filter options&nbsp;are selected.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Upon selecting the first geometry, the Action Mode changes to Append. The next feature selected will be appended to the geometry selection list. You can also select all the thread features that match the filter options by clicking the Select All button.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the Selection Options is set to Circle, you can select circular edges or circles as thread geometry. The selection of the circular edges is available only for single geometry selection. The geometry list can contain mixture of thread features, circular edges and circles.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Thread Parameters</div>
      <p class="para_division">All thread geometry contains parameters. A thread feature has a major diameter, minor diameter, pitch, angle, length, rotation and call out. These fields are for display only and cannot be edited. The parameters are extracted from the thread feature and thread milling tool.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Circle geometry has a diameter and start point for parameters. The pitch, position and the form of the first thread feature selected are used for defining the circle pitch, position and form.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Major Diameter</div>
      <p class="para_division">This is a non editable field. If the geometry selected is a circle and the position is internal, then&nbsp; the filter options and circle diameter are compared with the Tap Drill diameter from the thread data file provided by us. The corresponding Major and Minor Diameter values are extracted from this file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you select circle geometry for external threads, then&nbsp; the circle diameter is compared with the Shaft Diameter from the thread data file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">In the case of Internal threads, this diameter value is used for generation of the tool path.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Minor Diameter&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">This is a non editable field. If the geometry selected is a circle and the position is internal, then&nbsp; the filter options and circle diameter are compared with the Tap Drill diameter from the thread data file provided by us. &nbsp;The corresponding Major and Minor Diameter values is extracted from this file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the geometry selected is a circle and the position is external, then&nbsp; the circle diameter is compared with the Major Diameter from the thread data file provided by us and the corresponding Major and Minor Diameter values is extracted from this file.</p>
      <p class="para_division">In the case of External threads, this diameter value is used for generation of the tool path.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Pitch</div>
      <p class="para_division">This is the pitch of the selected thread geometry. If the geometry selected is a circle, the pitch value of the first thread feature selected is set as the pitch for the circle.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Angle</div>
      <p class="para_division">For a thread feature, this is the included angle of the thread. If the geometry selected is a circle, the angle value of the first thread feature selected is set as the angle for the circle.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Call Out</div>
      <p class="para_division">The system reads the values of the Major Diameter, Minor Diameter, Pitch, and Angle from the thread table if the geometry selected is a thread feature and displays the Call Out. These values are non editable.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If the geometry selected is circle, the pitch and the angle of the thread feature are used, but the Major and the Minor diameter are extracted from the data file provided by us.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Length</div>
      <p class="para_division">This is the length of the thread geometry selected. The length is an editable field. The tool path will be generated for the length specified. When the geometry selected is a thread feature, this value is extracted from the thread data structure. If the geometry selected is&nbsp;a circle you must specify the length.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Rotation</div>
      <p class="para_division">Rotation defines whether the thread is right hand or left hand. The same thread milling tool can be used to machine both types of the threads. You may specify any type of thread rotation.</p>
      <p class="para_division">This field becomes non editable if the geometry selected is a thread feature. The system extracts the rotation type from the feature.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Select Start</div>
      <p class="para_division">When thread geometry is selected, the feature will be highlighted. When you click on the Select Start button, a single selection dialog appears on the screen. This dialog allows you to respecify the start face of the thread feature. The current start face and the current thread axis are displayed on the screen. The Thread axis defines the cutting direction for the thread.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If you select a new start face the software automatically calculates the new start point and the thread axis. The thread axis can also be reversed if required by clicking Reverse Thread Axis. The tool axis is also displayed along with the thread axis. You are also provided with an option to reverse the tool axis.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If Selection Options is set to Circle, the Select Start button changes to Change Axes. This allows you to change the thread or the tool axis direction.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Action Mode</div>
      <p class="para_division">Upon selecting the first geometry, the Action Mode changes to Append. The next feature selected will be appended to the geometry selection list.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The Action Mode can be set to Edit, then Select All button will be grayed out and rest of the buttons are made active.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can remove geometry from the selection list.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You have an option to change the rotation of the thread geometry selected. In case of the Circle Selection option, you can change the position.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You can also change the length of the thread.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_division">These changes can be facilitated by cycling through the geometry list using the left and right arrow.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Selection Options&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">This allows you to select either thread features or circles.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Select All&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">This button is grayed out when the filter options are not set. After the first thread feature selection it becomes active. You can select all the features present in the displayed part in a single action by activating the Select All button.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If Selection Options is set to Features, the processor picks the existing thread features which match all the parameters of the Filter Options. If Selection Options is set to Circle type, you can select the existing circle features which satisfy the Filter Options.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Remove&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can navigate through the selected geometry list and edit the parameters using the left arrow and buttons in the Thread Geometry Selection dialog .</p>
      <p class="para_division">The system will highlight the thread feature from the list during this navigation. The geometry entity can be removed from the list by activating the Remove button.&nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Remove All&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">Deletes all the features selected from the list. Once removed the geometry list cannot be retrieved.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Left Arrow&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can navigate backwards through the selected geometry list&nbsp; using the left arrow button. The corresponding geometry feature will get highlighted and the Action Mode sets to Edit mode.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can edit the geometry parameters or the highlighted entity can be removed from the list. When the cursor is positioned on this button.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Right Arrow&nbsp;</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can navigate forward through the selected geometry list using the right arrow button. The corresponding geometry feature will get highlighted and the Action Mode sets to Edit mode.</p>
      <p class="para_division">You can edit the geometry parameters or the entity can be removed from the list. When the cursor is positioned on this button</p>
      <div class="title_division">Edit</div>
      <p class="para_division">This action allows you to edit the already selected geometry. When the Edit button is activated, the&nbsp; Thread Geometry Selection Dialog will pop up and the Action Mode will be set to Edit. You can edit the existing data of the geometry entity. You can navigate through the geometry selected using the left arrow and right arrow buttons. The system will highlight the corresponding feature in the list during this navigation. The geometry entity can be removed from the list by invoking the Remove button.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Display</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Geometry selected for the operation will be highlighted temporarily when the Display button is activated.</p>
