      <p class="para_topic">The default tracking point for all milling tools is on the centerline at the end of the tool. You can define additional tracking points for any milling tool. For each additional tracking point, supply the following information: </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Diameter- the output diameter of the tracking point.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Distance- the distance along the tool axis measured up from the tool tip.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Adjust register.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Cutcom register.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Z Offset value for the postprocessor.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A name.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Where do I Find it?</div>
      <p class="para_division">To enter the User Defined Tracking Points dialog go to any Milling Tool dialog-&rarr; More-&rarr; Tracking Points.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To select a tracking point in an operation dialog go to the Cutter Compensation dialog: Operation dialog-&rarr; Machine-&rarr; Cutter Compensation.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Tracking Point Dialog</div>
      <p class="para_division">The User Defined Tracking Points dialog allows you to add new tracking points, modify tracking points, and delete tracking points.</p>
      <p class="para_division">If tracking points currently exist, the system selects the last one and displays the data in the fields below the table. </p>
      <p class="para_division">If no current tracking points exist, the system sets all the data fields to zero and displays a default name in the Name field.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Tracking Point Procedures</div>
      <p class="para_division">The following are procedures to create and select user defined tracking points:</p>
      <div class="title_division">To Create a New Tracking Point </div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the User Defined Tracking Points dialog, enter a name in the Name field if you don't want the default name. If you enter a name that the system already uses, the system appends a sequence number to ensure uniqueness.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter values in the Diameter and Distance data fields. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you want to define values for Z Offset, Adjust, and Cutcom, select the check boxes and add values in their respective fields. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Add. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">To Modify an Existing Tracking Point</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the User Defined Tracking Points dialog, select the tracking point in the Defined Trackpoints field. The system displays the data in the data fields. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Modify any of the data values of this point in the data fields and select Modify to save the changes. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">If you enter or modify data values in the dialog and select OK, the following occurs:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If no Tracking Points are defined, the system adds a new point to the current cutter using the values displayed in the dialog.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If Tracking Points are defined, the system modifies the selected point using the values displayed in the dialog.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">To Delete a Tracking Point</div>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Delete Point to delete the point </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select OK or Cancel to exit the dialog.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <div class="title_division">Selecting the Tracking Point in the Operation</div>

         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Operation Dialog select Machine-&rarr; Cutter Compensation. The system displays the Cutter Compensation dialog.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Cutcom drop down menu select Engage/Retract.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Output Contact/Tracking Data check box. &nbsp;</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select a name of a tracking point from the Tracking Point drop down menu. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select OK. </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_division">The system uses the selected tracking point for the tool path output and the Z Offset, Adjust register or Cutcom register if defined.</p>
