      <p class="para_topic">Prior to version Unigraphics NX2, you may have used different techniques to specify the tool and spindle information. When you open these parts in Unigraphics NX2 or later versions, the system converts the parts to use the current methods. </p>

The marker has a parameter called Output Load Tool that the system selects to force output. If a parameter for the previous UDE no longer exists, the system puts it in the appended text field on the Machine dialog.

                           <p class="para_warning_body">You may have to change the preference for Force LOAD and TURRET, or select Output Load Tool on the marker in order to get the expected CSLF output.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Spindle On</p>

               <p class="para_td">All information is removed and replaced with the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfggeneral/com_post_startup.html');return(false);">Spindle Marker</a>. The marker has a parameter that forces output. All Spindle parameters are in the Feed Rates dialog. If a parameter for the previous UDE no longer exists, the system puts it in the appended text field on the Feed Rates dialog.

               <p class="para_td">Multiple Spindle UDEs</p>
               <p class="para_td">During part conversion of turning operations, spindle UDE commands specified to set the Pre-start RPM before a second SFM spindle command, are converted to the Pre-Start RPM parameter. The second spindle command for SFM is converted to the remaining parameters. Other uses of multiple spindle commands for start of path events may not be converted correctly and should be checked after part conversion. When multiple commands are encountered, the last parameter set will be stored. A single spindle marker replaces the last Spindle command.</p>
               <p class="para_td">Spindle Status</p>
               <p class="para_td">When converting spindle RPM, the system assumes that if the value was 0, it was not programmed. During part conversion, if a UDE exists, and the RPM&gt;0, the system turns on the spindle status. If the RPM=0, the system sets the spindle status to off. In the case where a UDE was used to intentionally output S0, you have to manually turn on the status after part conversion. </p>
               <p class="para_td">Spindle Units</p>
               <p class="para_td">Spindle UDEs allowed output units to be different from part units, but the spindle params do not allow this. During part conversion, if units are mixed, the system converts the value in the UDE to the units of part (SMM or SFM) and puts it in the Surface Speed param, and sets the Spindle mode to on. </p>

      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Pocket ID's are converted from a text string to an integer value. If you used a non-numerical text string the system will not convert it, and you need to enter a numerical value.</p>
