      <p class="para_topic">Feed Rate values can differ for the several types of tool movement during the progress of the tool path. Also, you can express feed rate values in inches per minute or inches per revolution (IPM, IPR) - or millimeter per minute or millimeter per revolution (MMPM, MMPR) for metric parts. The default feed rates are 10 IPM (English Units) and 10 MMPM (metric units).</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Feed rates also can be defined at the boundary level, at the boundary member level, and the group level, using Custom Boundary Data.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When you select the Feed Rate option, a feed rates dialog is displayed. Depending upon the machining submodule you use, you can assign feed rates to some or all of the following types of tool movement.</p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">  A rapid feed rate of zero causes the postprocessor command RAPID to be written into the tool path and CLSF causing either a machine dependent rapid code (e.g., G00) or the machine tool maximum feed rate to be output by the postprocessor.</p>
