      <p class="para_topic">Helical Diameter specifies the desired or maximum ramp diameter for a Helical engage. This parameter will be applicable to the Helical ramp type only. &nbsp;Ramp on Shape and Ramp on Lines will not employ this parameter.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When you decide to employ a helical ramp type, the system first attempts to generate a helical motion using the Helical Diameter. If the region is not large enough to support the Helical Diameter, the system reduces the diameter of the ramp and attempts the helical engage again. This continues until either the Helical Engage is successful or the path diameter becomes less than the Minimum Ramp Length-Diameter. If the region is not large enough to support a ramp diameter equal to the Minimum Ramp Length-Diameter, the system does not cut the region or the sub-region and continues to cut the remaining regions.</p>
