      </table><br><p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Transfer/Rapid</b> specifies how to move from one cutting pass to another. Generally, the cutter:
      </p>

            <p class="para_item">Moves from its current position to the specified plane.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Moves within the specified plane to a position above the start of the engage move (or above the cut point if no engage move has been specified).</p>

            <p class="para_item">Moves from the specified plane to the start of the engage (or to the cut point if no engage has been specified).</p>
         </li>

                        </p>
                        <p class="para_item">For Cavity Milling, <b class="uiTerm">Lowest Safe Z</b> is defined by whichever is highest of the part geometry, check geometry, blank geometry plus blank distance, or user-defined top level.
                        </p>

      <p class="para_division">Previous Plane causes the tool to raise to and move along the plane of the previous cut level when moving to a new cut region. However, if the transfer move connecting the current position and the position above the start of the next engage is interfered by the part and check shapes, the tool will retract to and move along the Clearance Plane (if it is active) or the implied clearance plane (if the Clearance Plane is inactive).</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For Cavity Milling when moving from one Cut Level to the next lower level (region 1 and region 2 illustrated below), the tool lifts until its distance is the Vertical Clearance value above the current Cut Level. It then moves horizontally without cutting until it reaches the Engage Point for the new level and then engages down to the new Cut Level.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">For Cavity Milling and Planar Milling when moving between two connected regions on the same Cut Level (region 2 and region 3 illustrated below), the tool lifts until its distance is the Vertical Clearance value above the previous Cut Level. The tool then moves as described above, except that the engage move returns to the current Cut Level.</p>
         </li>
