      <p class="para_topic">A thread milling tool is either single pointed or multiple pointed and is used to mill or generate a thread by moving the rotating tool in a helix motion whose centerline is parallel to the centerline of the hole. The tool is of the same form and pitch as the thread to be machined. </p>
