It is possible to speed up the preparation of a machining session by loading a template part. Create this template by performing the first three steps of a CAM setup (loading the machine, mounting parts and fixtures and adding these fixtures to the kinematics model) and saving them as a template part. The workpieces are saved in this template as dummy parts which are flagged as such ("target") in the assembly component attributes. You have to flag the machine and the fixtures as resource. If you use such a setup template in the CAM part, the dummy parts are automatically replaced by the actual part to be machined and the system automatically adapts the fixture mating conditions.
