      <p class="para_topic">Offsets/End Line allows you to adjust the length of the thread. Positive offset values lengthen the thread; negative offset values shorten the thread.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Offsets are measured along the thread angle, which depends upon the method of depth specification. Refer to Total Depth.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The following figure illustrates the one method for specifying a Start Offset and the three methods for specifying an End Offset.</p>

      <div class="title_division">Start Offset</div>
      <p class="para_division">Choose Start and enter the desired value Offset to adjust the Start Point of the thread.</p>
      <div class="title_division">End Offset</div>
      <p class="para_division">Choose End and enter the desired Offset value to adjust the End Point of the thread.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Initiate End Offset from Tool</div>
      <p class="para_division">Initiate End Offset From Tool causes the system to calculate the End Offset such that the tool clears the thread. The amount of offset is based upon the tool orientation, heel and relief angles, direction of thread motion, and thread angle. Whenever you respecify any of the above, you must also respecify the Init From Tool offset method, if still desired.</p>
      <div class="title_division">End Line</div>
      <p class="para_division">The End Line options allow you to define the end of the thread by selecting a line which intersects the Crest Line, display the current End Line, and remove any previously selected End Line.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When specifying an end line, the intersection point determines the End of the thread. The End Offset value is added to this intersection point. If you do not select an End Line, the system uses the end point of the Crest Line.</p>
