<h1>Postprocessor Commands</h1>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>The <span style="font-weight: bold;">Postprocessor Commands 
 </span>option allows you to specify how the GPM outputs CLSF postprocessor 
 commands. You can control the validity of a command, its format, and the 
 acceptable use of Minor words with that command.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Postprocessor Command 
 Selection</span> - which presents a list of Postprocessor commands. After 
 you select the command, you have the option of making the command valid 
 or invalid.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt>If you choose to make the command valid you can 
 have further options. These other options are documented with the command 
 in the following pages.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt>If you choose to make the command invalid you can 
 either choose whether to have a warning output in the postprocessor output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Postprocessor Command 
 Validation Summary -</span> which lets you see which postprocessor commands 
 are valid or invalid.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>You can set the status as Valid, Invalid, or Ignore 
 all postprocessor commands available to the GPM. Defaults are provided. 
 Normally you will not need to reset the Word status.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>The major vocabulary words are listed in alphabetical 
 order, fourteen at a time, with <span style="font-weight: bold;">Entry 
 Complete</span> as the last option. The current status of each word is 
 displayed as Valid, Not Valid, or Ignore Word.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>Use this command to define the codes that select the 
 next tool or the next pallet.</p>

<h1><a NAME=list_punch_ctrl></a>Listing and Punch Control</h1>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>The system device names for the line printer and punch 
 are provided by default; however, you can define other device names. The 
 maximum length for the line printer name is 7 characters. A punch device 
 name can be up to 5 characters long.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>For the line printer listing you can define the number 
 of lines output per page, the number of columns per line, and number of 
 G codes per block. For the punch code format you can select EIA, ISO, 
 or 7-bit ASCII MCD output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>When you select this option, you have the following 
 options:</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>The <span style="font-style: italic;">Listing And Punch 
 Control</span> menu displays the available options along with the Current 
 Status of each option. If you have not previously modified those options 
 the status represents the defaults.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">How Many Lines Per 
 Page </span>- This option allows you to specify the number of lines per 
 printed page of postprocessor output by the GPM.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">How Many Columns Per 
 Line</span> - This option allows you to specify the number of characters 
 in a printed line of postprocessor output by the GPM.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Enter Punch Device 
 Access</span> - This option allows you to specify which tape punch device 
 is to punch the tape output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>Enter the character values which represent the tape 
 punch device used to punch tape output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Punch Output Code Format</span> 
 - This option allows you to specify the punch code format of the punch 
 device output by the GPM.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>Select the option which represents the punch code that 
 is used by the tape reader. The options are defined as follows.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt><span style="font-weight: bold;">EIA </span>- The 
 EIA file has the character EOB at the end of every line. These characters 
 are automatically stripped when the file is sent to the punch by XLATOR.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt>You have several <span style="font-style: italic;">Punch 
 End Of Block Code Forma</span><span style="font-weight: bold;">t</span> 
 menu options.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt><span style="font-weight: bold;">ISO, CRLF </span>- 
 The ISO file has a combination of the characters CR LF at the end of every 
 line, with the selection of both carriage return, and line feed. These 
 characters are automatically stripped when the file is sent to the punch 
 by XLATOR.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt>You have several <span style="font-style: italic;">Punch 
 End Of Block Code Format</span> menu options.</p>

<p CLASS=ListBulletTxt><span style="font-weight: bold;">7-BIT ASCII MCD 
 </span>- The 7-BIT ASCII MCD file has no bracketed characters at the end 
 of each line. The file is ready to be moved to the operating system for 
 Masterlink or some other type of DNC operation. It cannot be sent to the 
 punch. Appropriate defaults for all of the above are provided.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>You have the option of inserting spaces between data 
 fields in the Packed listing output and the punch output for readability 
 improvement. If you want the punch output to have spaces, you must select 
 spaces for the listing output even if you do not use the Packed format. 
 You can not include more spaces in the punch output than you have in the 
 listing output. You can have spaces in the listing output and none in 
 the punch output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Spaces Between Fields 
 In Punch Output Code</span> - Enter the number of spaces between data 
 fields in the punched output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Spaces Between Fields 
 In Listing (Packed Only)</span> - Enter the number of spaces between data 
 fields in the listing output.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>The following options allows you to enter the machine/controller 
 name and MDF creation date that are output on the line printer listing 
 header.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Enter The MACHINE/CONTROL 
 NAME, Max 24 Characters</span> - This option allows you to specify the 
 machine controller name for the MDF being created.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>Enter character values which represent machine/controller 
 name that is output on the listing header. The maximum number of characters 
 is 24 for the machine/controller name.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph><span style="font-weight: bold;">Enter Date Of MDF, 
 Max 9 Characters</span> - This option allows you to specify the date the 
 MDF is created and display it on the header.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>Enter character values which represent MDF creation 
 date that are output on the listing header. The maximum number of characters 
 is 9 for the creation date of MDF.</p>
