      <p class="para_topic">Slowdowns allows you to set the length, starting location, and the rate of the slowdown. The state of the toggle (on or off) determines whether the following options are available.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When toggled On, you can set the following Slowdown parameters:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Length</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">% Tool Diameter / Tool Diameter</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Slowdown %</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Number Of Steps</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Length</div>
      <p class="para_division">Length allows you to determine the distance along which the tool will slow down by specifying One of the following two options.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Previous Tool indicates that the length of the slowdown move is determined either by the diameter of the previous tool or any diameter you enter in the Tool Diameter field. Slowdown begins and ends at the points of tangency of the tool diameter and the part geometry.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Percent Tool indicates that the length of the slowdown move is determined by a percentage of the current tool diameter; you enter the percentage in the % Tool Diameter field. Slowdown begins and ends at the points of tangency of the tool diameter and the part geometry.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The following illustrates the tool position when it starts to decelerate depending upon the specified Length method.</p>

      <div class="title_figure">Starting Position for Slowdown Feed Rates</div>
      <div class="title_division">Slowdown%</div>
      <p class="para_division">Slowdown% determines the slowest feed rate during slowdown. It is a percent of the present feed rate. For example, if the current feed rate is 30 ipm and this option is set to 10 %, then the Slowdown Feed Rate will step down to 3 ipm before accelerating.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Number Of Steps</div>
      <p class="para_division">Number Of Steps allows you to set the abruptness of slowdown. The greater the number, the more even the slowdown. The feed rate reduction per step is:</p>
      <p class="para_division">(100% - Slowdown %) / No. of Steps.</p>
      <p class="para_division">The number of acceleration steps is approximately one-half of the number of deceleration steps. In other words, the tool accelerates faster than it decelerates. The following figure shows use of Slowdowns with several other option setting, and Number Of Steps = 5.</p>

      <div class="title_division"> Corner Angle</div>
      <p class="para_division">Minimum Corner Angle is the smallest or sharpest angle you wish to include when using the Fillets and Slowdowns options.</p>
      <p class="para_division">Maximum Corner Angle is the largest or widest angle you wish to include when using the Fillets and Slowdowns options.</p>
