Vector, Plane allows you to specify an engage move in terms of a vector and a plane. The vector establishes the direction of the engage motion, and the plane determines the engage start point. Choose one of the available methods of defining a vector. The defined vector displays on the graphics screen at a location appropriate to the option chosen. You must now use one of the methods of defining a plane from which the tool is to travel. When you generate the tool path, the engage move starts from the engage plane and moves along the engage vector to the first point to be machined.
