      <p class="para_topic">The Chase Passes option allows you to specify spring passes at the end of the thread to control size of thread and minimize tool deflection. The system makes the chase passes at the Total Thread Depth. You can also specify the number of OPSTOPS to be output and a local return move.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Chase passes are always bracketed by OPSTOP, OPSKIP/ON and OPSTOP, OPSKIP/OFF commands.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Number of Chases</div>
      <p class="para_division">Before the first chase pass, the system moves the tool to the Local Return Point, if active (otherwise to the Return Point specified under Avoidance Geometry), and outputs an OPSTOP and OPSKIP/ON command. Then the desired number of chase passes are output with the final one followed by an OPSTOP and OPSKIP/OFF.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Number of Opstops</div>
      <p class="para_division">For the # Opstops you specify, (n), the system outputs an additional OPSTOP command before each of the last (n) chase passes. For example, if you specify four chase passes and two opstops, the additional opstops are output before the last two chase passes.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Local Return Pt, Return Move</div>
      <p class="para_division">The interactive process for defining a Local Return Pt and Return Move is identical to that of defining a Return Point and Return Move in the Avoidance Geometry option.</p>
