      <p class="para_topic">Overlap Distance is specific to Planar Milling.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Overlap Distance allows you enter a value for an offset to be applied to boundaries. The offset is applied to extend the boundary normal to the cut region, except where it will cause the tool to gouge the part. If you apply the Profile cut pattern in the finish operation, only the part section of the region will be cut. The following figure illustrates how the offset applies to the uncut region and the boundaries that are created from it.</p>
