      <p class="para_topic">The Teachmode Main Dialog is customizable so the options available vary according to your needs and you can place the options on different tab pages as you wish. The following is an overview of the available options. For more information about customizing your environment see CAM &rarr; Manufacturing General &rarr; Customizing your Environment.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Use these icons to create Teachmode suboperations. When you confirm these dialogs with OK, the new operation is inserted behind the one selected in the list box or at the very end if none is selected.</p>

This provides the flexibility to machine portions of the target geometry individually and interactively.

            </th>

               <p class="para_td">The List Box shows all suboperations that have been programmed thus far. These can be modified, cut, copied, pasted or deleted using the buttons below the list box. Modification is also available through double clicking an entry in the list box. </p>

               <p class="para_td">The Edit icon allows you to modify any of the suboperations in the List Box. To do this, click on the suboperation in the List Box, then click on the Edit icon. This is the same as double clicking on the suboperation in the List Box.</p>

               <p class="para_td">The Cut icon allows you to remove all selected suboperations from the List Box and place them in the clipboard. </p>

               <p class="para_td">The Copy icon allows you to make a duplicate of all selected suboperations in the List Box and place it in the clipboard. Use the Paste icon to then place the suboperation where you would like it. </p>

               <p class="para_td">The Machine Control Dialog allows you to enter output commands such as Startup and End-of-Path commands, as well as Adjust and CUTCOM register information.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Avoidance Geometry allows you to specify, activate (or cancel) geometry that is used for non-cutting moves before or after a tool path.</p>

               <p class="para_th"><b class="uiTerm">Update IPW</b></p>
            </th>
            <td colspan="2" rowspan="1" valign="top">
               <p class="para_td">Turning off the <b class="uiTerm">Update IPW</b> option lets you generate an operation creating the corresponding tool path but leaving the in-process workpiece unchanged. Turn off <b class="uiTerm">Update IPW</b> to create mirrored cycles for simultaneous roughing with multiple tools (merging lathes) that you can then fine-tune in the Synchronization Manager.
