      <p class="para_topic">The machine tool driver (MTD) comprises the traditional MOM Post plus a Virtual NC Controller (VNC). The VNC calls  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgisv/mfgisv_setup_sv_comms.html');return(false);">S&amp;V commands</a> to emulate the machine tool in the graphics window and provides information to the  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgisv/mfgisv_run_nc_control_panel.html');return(false);">Simulation Control Panel</a>. You can create a VNC at the same time you create your post using Post Builder. For more information on how to do this, see the Post Builder Online Help.

      <p class="para_topic">When running the simulation, the system addresses specific component, junction, and axis names in the kinematics model. The following names in the machine tool driver must correspond to the names in the kinematics model:</p>
