      <p class="para_topic">The Rapid Move dialog for Milling defines the G code and output for the Rapid Move event for milling machines with a spindle axis along the Z-axis. The system uses this template for all rapid moves in your postprocessor. This event handles all non-cutting move motion types. </p>
      <p class="para_topic">The rap1 and rap2 words represent the motion perpendicular to the spindle axis. On a typical three axis milling machine, rap1 represents the X axis and rap2 represents the Y axis. The rap3 word represents the motion along the spindle axis. The rap3 word typically represents the Z axis.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When you select the Work Plane Change check box, the post tries to make a &quot;safe&quot; move. The display changes and there are two blocks in the dialog. If the direction of motion along the tool axis is positive along the spindle axis, the system outputs the block with rap3 first, followed by the block with rap1 and rap2. If the direction of motion is negative along the spindle, the system outputs the block with rap1 and rap2 first followed by the block with rap3.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When you clear the Work Plane Change check box, the system outputs the rap1, rap2 and rap3 words in the same block. The display changes and there are only single blocks in the dialog.</p>
