It allows you to reorder the sequence, change the direction of individual flow cuts, remove entire flow cuts, remove segments of flow cuts, and split flow cuts into more than one piece.

To make modifications, select the User Defined option for Cut Order in the Flow Cut Drive Method dialog box any time prior to generating a tool path. The Flow Cut processor stops processing immediately after all the flow cuts are computed and displays the Manual Assembly dialog box. Flow cuts are listed in cut sequence and identified by numbers in both the listing window of the dialog box and on the part as illustrated below. You may modify the desired flow cuts by first selecting flow cuts from the listing window (hold down the CTRL key to multiple select) or a single flow cut from the graphics display and then selecting the appropriate options from the dialog box. The selected (highlighted) flow cuts are considered "current" and are displayed in the specified Current Color. Once you are satisfied with the modifications, select OK to complete generation of the tool path.

The Previous and Next arrow buttons allow you to specify the current flow cut one at a time by sequencing backward or forward through the list. The current flow cut is displayed on the part in the specified Current Color.

The Cut button removes the current flow cut(s). It is used in combination with the Paste button to reorder the flow cuts, or to delete unwanted flow cuts altogether. It is useful to Redisplay and Renumber after cutting.

Paste

The Paste button inserts the flow cut(s) that were last Cut back into the sequence. The flow cuts are inserted below the currently highlighted flow cut. If two Cuts are performed consecutively, only the flow cuts in the last Cut can be pasted back into the list.

The Save button saves all changes made to the current flow cuts. You should use this option after you have performed a series of edits, are satisfied with the results, and do not wish to lose them when selecting Reset. Reset All, however, will continue to return flow cuts back to their original state even if they have been saved. This option is available only if the current flow cuts were generated using Reference Tool Offset, otherwise it is greyed out.

Closest Flow Cut

The Closest Flow Cut section of the dialog box contains three buttons that allow you to select and reorder individual flow cuts based on the distance to the current flow cut. The "closest" distance is defined as the flow cut whose start point is nearest the end point of the current flow cut.

The Next Closest arrow cycles through the list by highlighting individual flow beginning with the one nearest to the current flow cut and ending with the one farthest from the current flow cut.
In the following figure, Flow Cut 1 is the current flow cut and segment 41 has been selected. The position of the slider bar indicates that segment 41 has been selected from the 225 segments in the flow cut.
