               <p class="para_td">Defines the initial cutter location at the start of a new segment of cutter path. It does not cause tool movement. It outputs a FROM command as the first entry in the tool path. Any other post commands follow the FROM command.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The From point is the reference point for all future tool movement. If you do not specify a From point, the first GOTO point is assigned a FROM in the CL file.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Defines the final tool position. The From point is often used as this position. A Gohome point outputs a GOHOME command as the final entry in the tool path. The postprocessor will always interpret the GOHOME command as a rapid move (i.e., a G00 is output after postprocessing). </p>

               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Clearance</b></p>
            </td>
            <td bgcolor="#F7F7F7" colspan="1" rowspan="1">
               <p class="para_td">Defines a safe clearance distance for tool motion before and after an operation and during any programmed obstacle avoidance. You can define a radial or axial plane by choosing <b class="uiTerm">Select</b> beside the option and clicking the desired position in the graphic screen, or entering a value manually. The software uses the radial and axial clearance planes only when a return move is active and you have selected one of the following options from the <b class="uiTerm">Motion to Return Point</b> option menu:
               </p>

                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Clear Radial &rarr; Direct</b></p>
                  </li>

               <p class="para_td">For the last two options, you do not have to specify a Return point as the operation does not generate motions to the Return point but only an axial or radial motion.</p>

               <p class="para_td">Affects how the software creates <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b> avoidance motions. Clear the check boxes to create, whenever possible, either a single motion or a sequence of successive motions that are parallel to the MCS axes (along or perpendicular to the spindle axis.)
               </p>

                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">To Start of Engage</b></p>
                     <p class="para_item">Clear the check box to request gouge-free avoidance motions parallel to the MCS axes either from:</p>
                     <ul>
                        <li>
                           <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">From</b> point, <b class="uiTerm">Start</b> point, or the last tool position, to the start of engage if: there is no approach path and <b class="uiTerm">Motion to Start of Engage</b> is set to <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b>.
                           </p>
                        </li>
                        <li>
                           <p class="para_item">The last point in the approach path to the start of engage if <b class="uiTerm">Motion to Start of Engage</b> is set to <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b>.
                           </p>
                        </li>
                     </ul>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">Between Regions</b></p>
                     <p class="para_item">Clear the check box to create traverse motions between regions that are parallel to the MCS axes.</p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">After Last Retract</b></p>
                     <p class="para_item">Clear the check box to create avoidance motions parallel to the MCS axes either from:</p>
                     <ul>
                        <li>
                           <p class="para_item">The last retract to the return point if there is no departure path and <b class="uiTerm">Motion to Return Point / Clearance Plane</b> is set to <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b>.
                           </p>
                        </li>
                        <li>
                           <p class="para_item">The last retract to the first point in the departure path (DP1) if <b class="uiTerm">Motion to Departure Point</b> for DP1 is set to <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b>.
                           </p>
                        </li>
                     </ul>
                  </li>

                           <p class="para_note_body">These are preferences. <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b> creates avoidance motions parallel to the MCS axes whenever possible, and substitutes alternate motions (usually <b class="uiTerm">Direct</b>) if an axially parallel motion would gouge the part.
                           </p>
                           <p class="para_note_body">If you select another motion type, such as <b class="uiTerm">Direct</b> or <b class="uiTerm">Clear Radial</b> the software honors the setting even if the motion gouges the part.
                           </p>

                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">For Automatic Engage</b> check box: Select to perform additional collision/gouge avoidance checking for &ldquo;automatic&rdquo; engages (<b class="uiTerm">Autolinear</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Autocircular</b>) as defined in the <b class="uiTerm">Engage/Retract</b> dialog box. Activates the monitoring of automatic traverse motions made inside the operation from one roughing pass to another, or from one finishing pass to another.
                     </p>
                     <ul class="unmarkedList">
                        <li>
                           <p class="para_item">For plunge roughing, the software tries to apply the engage distance assigned to the <b class="uiTerm">Level/Part</b> case if an engage to the plunge cut is detected close to the part profile.
                           </p>
                        </li>
                        <li>
                           <p class="para_item">For Plunge <b class="uiTerm">Autolinear</b>, the software checks the clearance at the engage start point and tries to correct the motion if the tool is too close to the part profile.
                           </p>
                        </li>
                     </ul>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">For Automatic Retract</b> check box: Same as above for retract motions.
                     </p>
                     <p class="para_item">For Plunge <b class="uiTerm">Autolinear</b>, the software checks the clearance at the retract end point and tries to correct the motion if the tool is too close to the part profile.
                     </p>
                  </li>
                  <li>
                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">For Minimum Clearance</b> check box: Select to include the <b class="uiTerm">Minimum Clearance</b> (<b class="uiTerm">Cutting</b> dialog box) distance in collision avoidance calculations for traverse motions.
                     </p>
                     <p class="para_item"><b class="uiTerm">For Minimum Clearance</b> is helpful when approaching the cut region with long traverse motions. The options is not helpful inside narrow grooves or similar features where the minimum clearance value is large enough to prevent otherwise acceptable traverse motions.
                     </p>
                  </li>
               </ul>
