      </table><br><p class="para_topic">In the dialog give a part stock used by the roughing operation. This stock is inherited to any underlying roughing operations. In the section named Tool Query there are two buttons: Class and Query.</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Class button. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the Library Class Selection dialog select Tool&rarr;Milling&rarr;End Mill. Click OK to exit the dialog. </p>
            <p class="para_item">This has now specified that when the system looks for tools in a library it looks among end mills only.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Query button. </p>
            <p class="para_item">In the Query from Method dialog, if the Variable Type is set to Database Attributes the following options are available:</p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">CorRadMill</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Diameter</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">FluteLength</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Holder</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Material</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">libref</p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Diameter. In the Query section build your query. The syntax for the query is as follows:</p>

               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">When referring to Database Attributes they have to be enclosed in DB( ).</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Select the == operator</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">When referring to any Knowledge Fusion rules, the rules have to be enclosed in &amp;KFR( ).</p>
               </li>
            </ul>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Make sure your query says:</p>
            <p class="para_item">DB(Diameter) == &amp;KFR(ug_cam_tool_cr_dia_pocket())</p>
            <p class="para_item">This is saying that the end mills diameter parameter is being accessed through a Knowledge Fusion rule. Also the Knowledge Fusion rule is using the utility functions ug_oper_askPocketCornerRadius() and ug_oper_askFaceMaxMin() to access the pockets corner radius and min/max values.</p>
         </li>

            <p class="para_item">Use the operators to add an AND (&amp;&amp;) to the query. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Continue by selecting the FluteLength Database Attribute. As the flute length must be greater then the features height we use the ug_oper_askFeatureHeight() function.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Make sure your query states the following:</p>
            <p class="para_item">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;DB(Diameter) == &amp;KFR(ug_cam_tool_cr_dia_pocket()) &amp;&amp; DB(FluteLength) &gt; &amp;KFR(ug_oper_askFeatureHeight())</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click the Check Query Syntax button to make sure there are no syntax errors. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If there is no error the query is complete. Click OK to exit the dialog.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Verify whether or not the tool query is successful with the following steps:</p>
            <ol type="a" start="1">
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">In the Operation Navigator double click the ROUGH_UG_OPEN_POCKET operation. </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">In the dialog, click the Groups tab.</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">Select the Tool radio button and click the Select button. &nbsp;</p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">This will execute the tool query and may or may not come back with a list of possible tools found in the library for this particular pocket. </p>

            <p class="para_item">Cancel the operation and save the part file.</p>
         </li>
