      <p class="para_topic">The following are known limitations of machine tool simulation with ISV:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If you have a 4- or 5-axis machine tool where the controller computes intermediate steps of cutter inclination, use the <b class="commandName">SIM_linearize</b> (on/off) simulation command. (<b class="uiTerm">MTD</b> model only, this is built-in for <b class="uiTerm">CSE</b>.)

         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Usually, the position coordinates of the cutter center are output to the post, but if you check the <b class="uiTerm">Output Contact</b> option in your milling operation (planar profiling only), the system outputs the contact path with the designed part geometry to the post. In the latter case, you have to calculate the cutter compensation in the MTD, otherwise the simulation will be wrong. (<b class="uiTerm">MTD</b> model only, this is not yet supported for <b class="uiTerm">CSE</b>.)
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The <b class="uiTerm">CSE</b> controller model has a limit to the length of toolpath that can be simulated. There is no history buffer length key-in and all motions are stored in memory 
            </p>
         </li>
