<h1>CUTCOM - MDFG Options</h1>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>This command allows you to define whether cutter compensation
is Left or Right. Based on the machine tool type, cutter compensation
can be controlled using G Codes, P and G Codes, or P and V Codes. Most
machine tools use G Codes to control cutter compensation.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>&nbsp;</p>

<h5>G Codes</h5>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>This option allows you specify the values for the G
Codes which control cutter compensation. Enter the codes for the following:</p>

<h5>&nbsp;</h5>

<h5>G Codes with I, J Startup (GE 1050)</h5>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>This option is similar to the previous option, G-Codes,
except that I and J are output with the cutcom startup in order to determine
 the initial startup direction.</p>

<h5>&nbsp;</h5>

<h5>P, Q Vectors (Cincinnati CNC)</h5>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>This option causes the GPM to output P or Q offset vectors
for the motion block. You can specify whether the P, Q Start (or End)
Vector Direction is Opposite or Along the travel direction. You must specify
the Word Address format for the P and Q cutcom direction codes.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>&nbsp;</p>

<h5>G-Codes (with Agiecut Block Rearrangement)</h5>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>This option is similar to the G-Codes option except
that the GPM saves the second block after cutcom startup and repeats it
 with CUTCOM/OFF. Use this <span style="font-weight: bold;">only</span>
 with Agiecut controls.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>&nbsp;</p>

<h5>P, V Codes (Cincinnati Acramatic 5)</h5>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>This option causes the GPM to output the codes P45 -
P52 in order for the Acramatic 5 control to determine the next direction
of motion. You must specify the Word Address format for the P code. Then
you can specify whether <span style="font-weight: bold;">The CUTCOM Offset
 Register </span>is <span style="font-weight: bold;">Programmable</span>
 - This option allows you to define whether the controller register which
holds the cutter compensation offset can be specified in a CUTCOM command
in the CLSF. When you use this option you must set minimum and maximum
register numbers (the GPM checks the register number when it appears in
each CUTCOM command to make sure that it falls within this range.) Then
you must specify the Word Address format for the CUTCOM Offset code.</p>

<p CLASS=Paragraph>&nbsp;</p>

<h5>C Axis Grinding (Moore Jig Grinder)</h5>

<p CLASS=Paragraph
style="margin-bottom: 0;">This option causes the GPM to output C axis
positions that orient the grinding axis so that it is always tangent to
the next direction of motion. You must then specify the Word Address format
of the C axis and the rotary parameters of the C axis. This option is
not designed to function with a Z axis motion. </p>
