      <p class="para_topic">Angle, Angle, Plane allows you to specify an engage move in terms of two angles and a plane. The angles determine the direction of the engage motion and the plane establishes the engage start point.</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A positive Angle 1 value is measured based on the direction of the first cut. Starting with a vector tangent to the first cut at the first point to be machined, a positive Angle 1 value is measured counterclockwise in a plane tangent to the part surface.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">A positive Angle 2 value is measured clockwise in a plane normal to the part surface containing the vector described by Angle 1. A negative Angle 2 value is measured counterclockwise.</p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">When you generate the tool path, the tool moves from the engage plane in the direction established by angles 1 and 2 to the first point to be machined.</p>

                  <p class="para_warning_body">  CAUTION: In Planar Milling, if the first segment of the boundary is a line, the first segment of the tool path is normally a parallel line. If the first segment of the boundary is an arc, the first segment of the tool path is normally a concentric arc.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">In certain circumstances the first segment of the boundary will &quot;disappear&quot; from the tool path, in which case the first segment of the tool path is &quot;parallel&quot; to the second segment of the boundary. This happens, for example, when the first segment of the boundary is a concave arc (one whose center lies on the same side of the arc as the tool) and the tool radius plus the side stock exceeds the arc radius.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Since the engage move is determined by the first segment of the tool path and not the first segment of the boundary, if the first segment of the boundary &quot;disappears&quot; from the tool path, the specified angles and plane may produce an undesirable engage move. The user must respecify the engage data in this case.</p>
