      <div class="title_division">Wall Stock and Wall Geometry in Face Milling Operations.</div>
      <p class="para_division">Use Wall Stock and Wall Geometry  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/geomtype_walls.gif" border="0"> &nbsp;to override the global Part Stock for walls related to the machined faces on a Part Body. &nbsp;With Wall Stock and Wall Geometry in Face Milling operations, &nbsp;you can select faces on the Part body (other than the faces being machined) as Wall Geometry and apply a unique Wall Stock to those faces in place of Part Stock. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">Use the operation template, face_milling_area  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/face_milling_area.gif" border="0">, &nbsp;to access Cut Area, Walls, and Automatic Wall Selection.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The figure below illustrates the different geometry types associated with the part body for a Face Milling operation. &nbsp;In this example, the orange represents the face that you want to be machined. &nbsp;The yellow represents those faces you selected as wall geometry to receive wall stock. &nbsp;The remaining green represents those faces that you would like to be treated as part geometry to receive part stock. </p>

      <p class="para_division">The diagram below illustrates the top view of this part when you apply a wall stock of one and a part stock of ten to the wall geometry and part geometry respectively. &nbsp;Notice that the system applies a wall stock of one only to the wall faces while it applies a part stock of ten to the remaining faces on the part body. </p>

      <div class="title_division">Using Wall Stock and Wall Geometry </div>
      <p class="para_division">To use Wall Geometry, you must first select or inherit Cut Area to define the machined faces in the Face Milling operation.</p>

      <p class="para_division">Select Wall Geometry  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/geomtype_walls.gif" border="0"> &nbsp;inside a Face Milling operation or inherit it from a MILL_AREA geometry group. &nbsp;Wall Stock may be defined in the Cutting Parameters dialog for a Face Milling operation. 
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Automatic Wall Identification</div>
      <p class="para_division">With Automatic Wall Identification, the Face Milling processor automatically recognizes and applies Wall Stock to faces adjacent to the selected Cut Area faces, which satisfies the wall criteria illustrated in the figure below. &nbsp;The red dot at the bottom indicates the start of the wall (the point at which the floor and wall intersect), and the red dot at the top, indicates the top of the wall. If the criteria for Automatic Wall Identification are sufficient, you can apply Wall Stock to the necessary faces without having to select the faces individually. &nbsp;</p>

      <div class="title_figure">Automatic Wall Selection Criteria</div>
      <div class="title_division">Automatic Wall Rules</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In cases four and eight, Automatic Wall stops at the first concave face beyond the face adjacent to the floor. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In cases three and five, Automatic Wall stops at the first convex face beyond the face adjacent to the floor that is outside the angular tolerance, which is six degrees. &nbsp;In case three, the first convex face lies within the angular tolerance so the wall is extended upwards until it encounters the next convex face that lies outside the angular tolerance. In case five, the wall stops at the first convex face since that face lies outside the angular tolerance. </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Automatic Wall Limitations:</div>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Automatic Wall Identification does not apply if Face Geometry (Blank Boundaries) is used to define the blank containment. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In cases where the wall faces extend below the Cut Area floor face(s), Automatic Wall may select more wall faces than is appropriate. You need to select the wall faces manually in these cases. </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <div class="title_division">Using Automatic Wall Identification</div>
      <p class="para_division">Automatic Wall Identification is available inside the main Face Milling dialog. &nbsp;To turn on Automatic Wall Identification, you must use Cut Area to define the machined faces on the Part Body, and the part body must be selected as Part Geometry. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Pre-Select Wall Geometry</div>
      <p class="para_division">With Pre-Select Wall Geometry you can initialize Wall Geometry for a Face Milling operation without having to select the individual wall faces; it is based upon the Cut Area faces and the selected Part Bodies. &nbsp;You retain the ability to remove, edit or append items from Wall Geometry. &nbsp;Use it when most, but not all, of the Wall Geometry adjacent to the Cut Area faces can be selected using the documented criteria for Automatic Wall Identification. &nbsp;</p>
      <div class="title_division">Using Pre-Select Wall Geometry</div>
      <p class="para_division">To Pre-select Wall Geometry, you must use Cut Area to define the machined faces on the Part Body and the Part Body must be selected as Part Geometry. &nbsp;You can find the Pre-Select button inside the Select/Edit dialog for Wall Geometry. </p>
