                  <p class="para_td">You can control the automatic change of tracking point in turn roughing operations. This is especially helpful for grooving.</p>

                  <p class="para_td">Select to perform the automatic change of tracking points in the initial roughing phase (for example, grooving) of the operation as well as in the later profiling phase.</p>

                  <p class="para_td">Specifies the distance away from the wall of a groove where the system triggers a change of tracking.</p>

                  <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Minimum Cut Length</b></p>
               </td>

                  <p class="para_td">Specifies a minimum length that the tool must cut along the wall (or plunge into the material). This prevents unwanted tracking point changes for minor steps in the part profile.</p>

      <div class="title_figure">Tracking point change from main to secondary tracking point</div>
      <p class="para_topic">In the above illustration, plunge cuts 1, 2, 3 and 4 use the main tracking point (R2). Plunge cut 5 uses the secondary tracking point (R1). The change from the main to the secondary tracking point is not triggered until:</p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The tool is within the <b class="uiTerm">Activation Distance</b> value (A.)
            </p>
            <p class="para_item">And,</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The projected cut length along the approaching wall is greater than the <b class="uiTerm">Minimum Cut Length</b> value (B).
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic">For the above example, if the <b class="uiTerm">Activation Distance</b> value stays the same and the <b class="uiTerm">Minimum Cut Length</b> value (B) is smaller than the first step, then the tracking point change is triggered at plunge cut 4 as shown below.
      </p>

      <p class="para_topic">The <b class="uiTerm">Automatic Change of Tracking Point</b> options are only available in the dialog box when both of the following apply:
      </p>
      <ul>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The grooving tool for your operation has at least two tracking points defined.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">You select a minimum of two active tracking points for your operation (one main and one secondary) in the <b class="uiTerm">Define Tracking</b> dialog box.
            </p>
         </li>
      </ul>
      <p class="para_topic"><b class="uiTerm">Linear Roughing</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Ramping</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Contour Roughing</b> only have the <b class="uiTerm">Automatic Change of Tracking Point</b> check box. The <b class="uiTerm">Activation Distance</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Minimum Cut Lenth</b> options do not apply.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Inheritance</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can either inherit the <b class="uiTerm">XOFF</b>, <b class="uiTerm">YOFF</b>, <b class="uiTerm">ADJUST Register</b> and <b class="uiTerm">CUTCOM Register</b> values from the parent group, or click <b class="uiTerm">Local</b> and specify the values within the current operation.
      </p>
