      <p class="para_topic">Spindle Axis defines how the workpiece is oriented with respect to the Machine Coordinate System. This option applies only to the Lathe modules and is unavailable for the Milling and WireEDM modules.</p>

      <p class="para_topic">These options allow to specify either the MCS X axis or the MCS Y axis as the spindle axis. If the tool path is generated with the Spindle Axis set as Mcs Y. the tool path header will include the character Y, separated by commas.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">When a part is filed, the current Lathe Spindle Axis status will be saved with the part. When a part is retrieved, the saved Lathe Spindle Axis status is restored.</p>
