      <p class="para_topic">Although the following procedure is described on an NX counterbore hole feature, the geometry input can also be any of the following: tagged face, arc, edge or point. However, these geometry entities must carry the CAM_FEATURE_NAME attribute in order to be identified by Holemaking. Also valid candidates are: recognized features and UDFs.</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Open a new part, create a block and instantiate a counterbore hole feature. For the diameter dimensions use the following parameters. </p>
            <ul>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">If metric use 20 for C-Bore Diameter and 13 for Hole Diameter. </p>
               </li>
               <li>
                  <p class="para_item">If inch use 1 for C-Bore Diameter and 0.625 for the Hole Diameter. </p>
               </li>
            </ul>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the other parameters as desired. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Enter the Manufacturing Module and perform Step 2-8 as explained in the Using Template Subtypes section.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select Preferences -&gt; Manufacturing -&gt; Geometry and toggle Create Feature Groups to Off. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select FBM_GEOM icon and set the parent group as WORKPIECE. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the name item enter CB_HOLE and click Ok. </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The FBM_GEOM dialog and the Information Window display. </p>
            <p class="para_item">The Information Window reports the feature identification. The system tries to identify every feature in the feature tree (Feature Navigator).</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">In the FBM_GEOM dialog click the Feature Type drop down menu and select COUNTER_BORE_HOLE.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">All the feature parameters display in the Classification Criteria field.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Check HOLE_DIAMETER and C-BORE DIAMETER as the classification criteria. </p>
            <p class="para_item">When applying this template the system creates feature groups based on the hole diameter and the counterbore diameter. All couterbore holes with the same hole diameter and the same counterbore diameter are grouped together. </p>
            <p class="para_item">Click OK and close the Information Window.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">To make this feature group a template subtype select the feature group and MB3 &nbsp;-&rarr; Object -&rarr; Template Setting -&rarr; Template.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">The Operation Navigator shows a new feature group. MB3 &rarr; Object &rarr; Display highlights the feature in the Graphics Window.</p>
         </li>
      </ol>
