      <p class="para_topic">This Option is used primarily to output polar coordinates. This mode is activated by programming a SET/LOCK UDE post command in the operation. There are two main applications for this option. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Four Axis</div>
      <p class="para_division">In this mode you need to select the axis you want to lock. This forces the post to recalculate the remaining axis to determine the tool position. You should only use the option when the tool axis is perpendicular to the plane of the fourth axis. This is the (0,0,1) or (0,0,-1) with XY plane, (0,1,0) or (0,-1,0) with ZX plane and (1,0,0) or (-1,0,0) with the YZ plane.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Five Axis</div>
      <p class="para_division">For a five axis postprocessor, you can only lock an axis in the plane of the fifth axis when the tool is perpendicular to the plane of the fifth axis. &nbsp;After you rotate the fifth axis you can lock one of the linear axis in the locked plane. </p>
      <p class="para_division">Locking a rotary axis is not recommended. You cannot use it to force the post to select an alternate rotary angle</p>
