                  <p class="para_td">The tool moves automatically to the start of the engage motion, or to the first point after the retract movement, checking for collisions with the IPW as it moves.</p>
                  <p class="para_td">The <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b> motion is only available for: Rough operations, Finish operations, and .in <b class="uiTerm">TeachMode</b> for <b class="uiTerm">Motion to Start of Engage</b>.
                  </p>
                  <p class="para_td">The motion is either direct or axially parallel. Clear the <b class="uiTerm"><a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfgturning/turn_geom_avoid_ops.html#avoid_prefer_direct_motion');return(false);">Prefer Direct Motion</a></b> option check boxes (<b class="uiTerm">More</b> tab) to create <b class="uiTerm">Automatic</b> motions that are parallel to the tool axis.
