      <p class="para_topic">The following paragraphs will discuss common options and features that appear in every postprocessor command dialog. This functionality is the same for startup, end-of-path and in-path postprocessor command sets.</p>
      <div class="title_division">The Lists</div>
      <p class="para_division">When defining postprocessor commands, there are two lists displayed in the postprocessor command dialog. The top Information Window, titled Available Functions, lists all of the available postprocessor functions. The bottom Information Window, titled Defined Functions, lists the currently defined postprocessor functions.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When you select one of the items in the Available Functions window, that item will be added to the Defined Functions window. Items in either Information Window can be selected via a double-click on the item or by highlighting the item and selecting the Add or Edit button (see below) or hitting the return key.</p>
      <p class="para_division">When you select a postprocessor function from either the Available Functions window or the Defined Functions window, the area on the dialog beneath the list boxes displays the related parameter field(s). For example, if you select the Dwell function from either list, the dialog would display an option menu listing dwell type options (Seconds and Revolutions), a number field allowing you to enter the number of seconds or the number of revolutions, and a text field for any appended text to be entered.</p>
      <table border="0">
         <tr>
            <td valign="top" align="left"><img align="left" src="../graphics/note.gif" alt="Note" title="Note"></td>
            <td valign="bottom" align="left" width="100%">
               <div class="para_note">
                  <p class="para_note_body">All edits made to the displayed command parameters will be accepted when the user selects the Apply button. If Apply is not selected, all updates to the command parameters will be discarded.</p>
               </div>
            </td>
         </tr>
      </table>
      <p class="para_division">To resequence defined Postprocessor commands, you can Cut and Paste currently active Postprocessor Commands from within the Defined Functions list. There are also sequencing markers which can be used to establish order.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Cut</div>
      <p class="para_division">To move commands within the Defined Functions list, select one or more commands and choose Cut. The highlighted command(s) will disappear, but may be reinserted in the list by using the Paste option.</p>
      <table border="0">
         <tr>
            <td valign="top" align="left"><img align="left" src="../graphics/note.gif" alt="Note" title="Note"></td>

               </div>
            </td>
         </tr>
      </table>
      <div class="title_division">Paste</div>
      <p class="para_division">The Paste button is active only if one or more defined commands have been cut from the list. You can paste these commands anywhere within the list of defined commands.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To Paste commands after a selected list item, select the single list item in the Defined Functions window and select the Paste button. The command(s) which had been Cut will then be pasted immediately after the single list item.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To Paste commands at the start of the list, you select the Paste button without highlighting a position within the Defined Functions window. This will cause the items to be pasted at the top of the Defined Functions window.</p>
      <p class="para_division">After the items have been pasted, the Paste button will be greyed out until another Cut is made.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Add/Edit</div>
      <p class="para_division">The label for this button will be either Add or Edit depending on which window contains a highlighted item. If an item is highlighted within the Available Functions window, the button will become selectable and will be labeled Add. If item(s) are highlighted within the Defined Functions window, the button will become selectable and will be labeled Edit. If no items are selected in either window, the button will remain greyed out.</p>
      <div class="title_division">List Output</div>
      <p class="para_division">If you wish to see the command string as it will be written to the CLSF, the List Output button may be selected after a range of commands within the Defined Functions window has been highlighted. A Information Window will be opened and the highlighted commands listed. This button only becomes selectable when one or more items has been highlighted within the Defined Functions window.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Available and Defined Functions</div>
      <p class="para_division">When you double-click on one of the items in the Available Functions window, that item will display in the Defined Functions window. (You may also highlight the command you want and press the Add button or the return key).</p>
      <p class="para_division">Within the dialog, beneath the two Information Windows, is the area used for input of function-specific parameters. When you select a function from the Available Functions window or from the Defined Functions window, this area displays any fields needed for the specific function.</p>

If an item is selected (double-clicked) from the Available Functions list and its associated parameters updated, the Apply button must be selected or the command will not be accepted into the Defined Functions list (it will be removed from the list after the next window selection). Similarly, if an item is selected from the Defined Functions list and its associated parameters changed, the Apply button must be selected to capture the changes made to the already defined command.</p>
