This dialog allows you to define the output and parameters to activate cutter compensation. You can specify three things: the G-codes for cutter compensation to left or right of the tool path, the maximum and minimum values for the cutter compensation register and the plane code that the system outputs.

There are two basic methods for outputting the cutter compensation codes. If you select the default method, the system outputs the code on the line with the linear or circular move. In the second option, you use only this dialog to specify parameters and define G-codes. Then output all of the cutter compensation words in the linear motion block. To use this second method, you must delete all the words from this event and make sure that all these words are in the linear motion block. By default all of these codes are also in the linear motion block as well. These codes are modal and are only output once, so no duplicate output results. However, if you delete the cutter compensation codes from this dialog, only the linear motion block outputs the codes.
