      <p class="para_topic">Standard Text (when active) generates a CYCLE/ statement with positioning motions according to the APT command statement minor words and parameters which you enter.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">For the Cycle Text, you may enter a string of one to twenty non-blank alphanumeric characters. This generates a Cycle statement of the form:</p>
      <p class="para_topic">CYCLE/string,parameters</p>
      <p class="para_topic">where string represents a combination of standard APT vocabulary words and numbers, and parameters represents appropriate supporting machining parameters.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">The string must consist of a series of valid standard APT vocabulary words and numbers, separated by commas, and must be valid for the target postprocessor. If either of these conditions is not met, errors occur at the time of CL-file generation and/or postprocessing.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">For strings of less than twenty characters, the system terminates the string when it encounters the leftmost blank character. If the first character is blank, the system displays the message FIRST CHARACTER MUST BE NON-BLANK.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Standard Drill</div>
      <p class="para_division">Standard Drill activates a standard drill cycle at each selected point. The system generates a CYCLE statement of the form:</p>
      <p class="para_division">CYCLE/DRILL,parameters</p>
      <p class="para_division">where the words in upper case letters are standard APT vocabulary words and &quot;parameters&quot; represents appropriate supporting cycle parameters.</p>
