      <p class="para_topic">An exception to the standard turning tool scheme are button tools which require slightly different attributes to the ones described in the standard tools section in order to provide proper input for the turning processors. Once the option R (Round) is selected in the ISO Insert Shape section, the nose radius edit field, the nose angle field, and the field for the cutting edge length are replaced by Diameter, Holder Angle and Holder Width edit fields. Holder Angle and Width are required to describe a simplified shape of the button tool holder which is considered as a safety zone for collision avoidance in tool path calculation.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">Button tools have the following specific parameters:</p>

      <p class="para_topic">The button tool's orientation angle OA is defined analogously to the above description (CCLW from positive X-axis to first Holder Edge met from exterior). Its default value is set to 90 for HA=0 . Otherwise, the same default definition as for the formerly described standard tool shapes is used.</p>
      <p class="para_topic">For example, button tool inserts mounted to offset shank holders with 45 side cutting edge angle are input to the system through specification of the respective diameter value of the button insert, a suitable holder angle HA and width HW matching the simplified shape of the holder geometry, and a holder orientation angle OA of 45.</p>
