      </table><br><p class="para_topic">Plunge Milling doesn't have specific tools defined for the operation. You can define most plunge mills using a milling tool. Some plunge mills have tilted inserts. Define these using a countersink tool. In the example below, the tool is defined as <b class="uiTerm">Type</b> = <b class="uiTerm">Holemaking</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Subtype</b> = <b class="uiTerm">Countersink</b>, <b class="uiTerm">Dia</b> = 50mm, <b class="uiTerm">Included Angle</b> = 168, and <b class="uiTerm">Tip Dia</b> = 25.

      <p class="para_topic">If the plunge mill is center cutting, set <b class="uiTerm">Max Cut Width</b> to 50%. This defines it as a center cutting tool. If the mill is not center cutting, set <b class="uiTerm">Max Cut Width</b> to the value recommended by the manufacturer. Make sure a non-center cutting tool's <b class="uiTerm">Max Cut Width</b> value is less than 50%.
