      <div class="title_division">Configuration File</div>
      <p class="para_division">Configuration File allows you to load a new CAM Configuration File. The related data in the current CAM session is updated.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Browse</div>
      <p class="para_division">Browse allows you to browse your system to find the configuration you desire. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Reset to Default</div>
      <p class="para_division">Reset allows you to reset the currently active configuration file back to the system default.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Run Process Assistant</div>
      <p class="para_division">Run Process Assistant allows you to activate the Process Assistant functionality which causes the system to request user inputs in a specific step-by-step sequence if the WIZARD key word is defined in the configuration file.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Template Set</div>
      <p class="para_division">The name of the active Template Set is displayed in the Template Set field. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Browse</div>
      <p class="para_division">Browse allows you to browse your system to find the template set you desire. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Reset to Default</div>
      <p class="para_division">Reset allows you to reset the currently active template set back to the system default. </p>

                  <p class="para_note_body">The initial settings for many of the settings in preferences are set in Customer Defaults. To access Customer Defaults go to File&rarr;Utilities&rarr;Customer Defaults&rarr;Manufacturing. If you find that you always want certain preferences set differently, you should change the setting in  <a class="links" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="top.openFile('mfggeneral/cust_defaults.html');return(false);">Customer Defaults</a>. You can make the setting at the user, group, or site level. For more information on Customer Defaults see the Gateway Online Help.

      <div class="title_division">Enable Level Based IPW</div>
      <p class="para_division">This options enables the use of level based IPW by saving the cut regions in either the work part, or in separate part files based on the options below.</p>
      <div class="title_division">Save in separate part file</div><a name="in-process_workpiece_pref"></a><div class="title_division">In-Process Workpiece</div>
      <p class="para_division"><b>In-Process Workpiece&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>When turned on, the In Process Workpieces (IPWs) in milling are saved in separate part files. These are added to your work part as a component in the assembly. This increases performance by retaining the faceted bodies to speed up future operation generation, and distributes the data over several part files.
      </p>
      <p class="para_division">The system names these parts as follows: &lt;part name&gt;_ipw_&lt;operation name&gt;.prt. The system names the reference set &lt;operation name&gt;, and adds it to the assembly.</p>
      <p class="para_division"><b>Level Based IPW&nbsp;&mdash;&nbsp;</b>This option determines whether or not the cut regions that are required for level based IPW are saved in separate part files. For large parts, this distributes the data over several part files.
      </p>
      <div class="title_division">Use directory of original part</div>
      <p class="para_division">When turned on, the IPW component part files are created in the directory of the original part. When turned off, you can specify a location to create all these files. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Browse</div>
      <p class="para_division">Browse allows you to browse your system to find the directory where you want to save the IPW component parts. </p>
      <div class="title_division">Reset to Default</div>
      <p class="para_division">Reset allows you to reset the directory where you want to save the IPW component parts to the location of the current part file. </p>
      <div class="title_division"> Add Palette</div>
      <p class="para_division">You can use palettes to create setups, instead of selecting setups from the setup dialog.</p>
      <p class="para_division">To create a palette, select the Add Palette button. The system displays the Library Class Selection dialog. From this dialog select either Inch or Metric, depending on the units of your part. As you create more palettes you should not mix units on a single palette, but instead create separate palettes for inch and metric. &nbsp;</p>
      <p class="para_division">To use a palette, open the part you want to machine, and while in Gateway or Modeling, select the picture in the palette for the type of setup you want to create. </p>
      <p class="para_division">To remove a palette, select Preferences&rarr;Palettes. Select the palette you want to remove, and then select the Delete icon.</p>
