      <p class="para_topic">To access the filter option, use the MB3 inside the <b class="uiTerm">Operation Navigator</b> and select <b class="uiTerm">Create Filter </b>to set up the filter criteria; or, select <b class="uiTerm">Apply Filter</b> if the <b class="uiTerm">Feature-Based Machining</b> filter already exists. You can use the filter options to filter all <b class="uiTerm">Feature Based Machining</b> (or <b class="uiTerm">Holemaking</b>) operations out of your <b class="uiTerm">Operation Navigator</b>. 
      </p>
      <p class="para_topic">Filtering out non-Holemaking operations:</p>
      <ol type="1" start="1">
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Select the Holemaking operations in the <b class="uiTerm">Program Order View</b> that you wish to optimize. 
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">If the list of operations in your NC program contains non-Holemaking operations use the filter options <b class="uiTerm">Create Filter</b> and <b class="uiTerm">Apply Filter</b> available in the <b class="uiTerm">Machining Feature Navigator</b> to filter them out.  
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Activate a filter by checking the box in front of each <b class="uiTerm">Common Attribute</b> filter type.  
            </p>
         </li>
      </ol>
      <p class="para_topic">The filter option filters through the operations allowing only Holemaking operations to be displayed in the Operation Navigator. This does not eliminate the other operations from the NC program. Once the operations have been filtered, all Holemaking operations can be easily seen and selected. </p>
