                        <p class="para_note_body">You can select a scrap cutter either from within the current work part or from a displayed assembly. In the case of the work part, data that was input to the scrap cutter (that is, profile, base plane, rib orientation, dowel and bolt hole locations, and CAM direction) are preselected into the respective lower scrap cutter base steps. In the case of an assembly (if the scrap cutter is an occurrence), then the same will occur, but only with WAVE linkable data. For example, if a datum plane was used to define the base of the lower scrap cutter, then in the assembly situation, a wave linked datum plane is preselected in the Base Orientation step. If you use a NX plane (not WAVE linkable) to define the base of the lower scrap cutter, then in the assembly situation, the Base Orientation step is not preselected. </p>

            <p class="para_item">Use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_bornt_ico.gif" border="0"> Base Orientation selection step to select a plane representing the base of the scrap cutter, or the top of the base.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_ornt_ico.gif" border="0"> Orientation selection step to select a plane representing the rib of the base.
            </p>

            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_dowel_ico.gif" border="0"> Dowel Location selection step to select point(s) that define the location of dowel holes desired in the base. If data is not selected for this step, then dowel holes are not created.

            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_boltloc_ico.gif" border="0"> Bolt Location selection step to select point(s) that define the location of bolt holes desired in the base. If data is not selected for this step, then bolt holes are not created.

            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_mount_ico.gif" border="0"> Mounting Shape selection step to select a mount shape for trimming.

            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_trmpost_ico.gif" border="0"> Trim Post selection step to select a solid body to represent the post that you want to unite with the lower scrap cutter base.

            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the  <img align="bottom" src="graphics/lwscrapcuterb_camdir_ico.gif" border="0"> CAM Direction selection step to specify a vector for the trim direction.
            </p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the Plane Subfunction to create a plane and assign the plane to the current selection step.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally enter any additional information about this base using the Other Parameters option.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the Switch Trim Side to reverse the trimming direction and specify which side of the profile on which to create the base. This is oriented to the profile curve.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the Switch Base Side to reverse the direction from the top plane from which the rib and base are built.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Optionally use the Hole Display to specify that holes and points should be displayed in the solid.</p>
         </li>
         <li>
            <p class="para_item">Click OK or Apply to create the LOWER_SCRAP_CUTTER_BASE feature. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
