            <td bgcolor="#f4f4f4" colspan="1" rowspan="1" valign="top"><a name="trim_steel_trim_steel_dialog_trim_profile"></a><p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/trim_profile.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Trim Profile</b> &mdash;- Lets you select curves or edges that define the shape of the trim being performed. This profile may be closed.  
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/base_location.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Base Location</b> &mdash; Lets you specify a point to determine the base of the trim steel along the trim direction. You can define this point by selecting a plane or a datum plane. The origin of the plane is used as the base location. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/start_orientation.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Start Orientation</b> &mdash; Lets you specify a plane that defines where the trim steel starts along the trim profile, as well as the orientation of the start of the trim steel. If you select a curve, a temporary plane is created that is defined by the end points of the curve and the trim direction. The plane is rotated into the trim direction. If you request a scrap cutter, the curve defines the length of the scrap cutter at this end. &nbsp; 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">If you do not specify a plane or a curve, then the trim steel begins at the start of the trim profile, and the orientation is perpendicular to the profile and the trim direction.</p><a name="trim_steel_trim_steel_dialog_end_orient"></a><p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/end_orientation.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">End Orientation</b> &mdash; Lets you specify a plane or a curve that defines where the trim steel ends along the trim profile, as well as the orientation of the end of the trim steel. If you select a curve, a temporary plane is created that is defined by the end points of the curve and the trim direction. The plane is rotated into the trim direction. If a scrap cutter is requested, the curve defines the length of the scrap cutter at this end.  
               </p>
               <p class="para_td">If you do not specify a curve, then the trim steel terminates at the end of the trim profile, and the orientation is perpendicular to the profile and the trim direction.</p><a name="trim_steel_trim_steel_dialog_back_shape"></a><p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/back_shape.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Back Shape</b> &mdash; Lets you specify plane(s) that define the shape of the base of the trim steel. If no planes are supplied, a base is not generated. Internally any planes specified are rotated into the trim direction.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/common/sheet_metal.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Sheet Metal</b> &mdash; Lets you specify the sheet body that represents the shape of the sheet metal being trimmed. This sheet body is utilized when generating a scrap cutter. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/tabs.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Tabs</b> &mdash; Lets you select the back planes that will have tabs. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/rib_location.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Rib Location</b> &mdash; Lets you specify plane(s) that determine the location and orientation of ribs on the trim steel. Ribs are only produced if planes are supplied and the average height of the trim steel exceeds a limit and a base has been requested. Internally any planes specified are rotated into the trim direction. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/dowel_location.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Dowel Location</b> &mdash; Lets you specify point(s) that determine the location of dowel holes. These points determine the center of the dowel hole when viewing along the trim direction. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/trim_steel/bolt_location.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Bolt Location</b> &mdash; Lets you specify point(s) that determine the location of bolt holes. These points determine the center of the dowel hole when viewing along the trim direction. 
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><img align="bottom" src="../graphic_library/icons/dialogs/vehicle_automation/common/cam_direction.gif" border="0"> <b class="uiTerm">Cam Direction</b> &mdash; Lets you specify a vector for the direction of the trim steel travel. This is optional if the direction is absolute -Z. If a datum axis or CSYS exists in the work part, with an attribute title specified by the <b class="uiTerm">Trim Direction Attribute Title</b> customer default, then this datum axis or CSYS is selected as the default direction.
               </p>

               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">Start </b> &mdash; Lets you specify a value to build the trim steel beyond the start of the trim profile. The extension is linear from the start of the profile. If the value is zero, there is no extension.
               </p>
               <p class="para_td"><b class="uiTerm">End</b> &mdash;  Lets you specify a value to build the trim steel beyond the end of the trim profile. The extension is linear from the end of the profile. If the value is zero, there is no extension. 
               </p>

               <p class="para_td">The first part of the option text specifies whether the trim steel you are building gets a scrap cutter added to the end of it (none, start, end, both). The second part of the option specifies whether the trim steel is adjusted for clearance to bypass a lower scrap cutter. A lower scrap cutter opposes the scrap cutter on the trim steel, think of it like the two blades of a scissors.</p>
               <p class="para_td">If you have two trim steels next to each other, sharing the end plane, then changing this option on one, automatically changes the option of the other trim steel, and changes the direction of the lower scrap cutter. Create it or delete it as needed.</p>
               <p class="para_td">The setting of this option determines whether or not a DIE_LOWER_SCRAP_CUTTER feature is created, along with the DIE_TRIM_STEEL feature.</p>
